This 1967 Mark VI alto saxophone offers a superb playing experience, living up to the name. It produces a really nice, slightly brighter sound that’s perfect for a variety of musical styles, and it's also incredibly versatile and can truly open up and project when you push it. You'll find the tone consistent across its entire range, from the lowest notes to the highest, and the key action is beautifully well-balanced, providing a comfortable and responsive feel under your fingers.
The lacquer is in great condition for a nearly 60 year old horn, it is a slightly darker lacquer very similar to the modern Selmers. It comes with the original case which can accomodate a clarinet and a flute as well. It is the doublers dream!
