Fibra is a new-generation ligature from Henri SELMER Paris, designed to let the reed do what it’s supposed to do: vibrate freely, evenly, and without resistance.

Drawing inspiration from traditional German-style wire ligatures, Fibra reimagines a historic concept using modern materials and a meticulously engineered tightening system. The result is a ligature that delivers immediate response, a homogeneous sound, and exceptional control across the entire range of the instrument.

At its core is a high-resistance SELMER nautical cord, paired with a precision Zamak slider engraved with the Maison’s iconic “S”. This combination ensures perfectly even pressure across the reed, consistent tension, and a secure fit on virtually any mouthpiece.

Thanks to its flexible construction, Fibra can be repositioned quickly without needing constant readjustment. Airflow remains smooth, low registers stay stable, and the tone remains round, centered, and responsive - exactly where you want it.
