The MANTRA saxophone sounds full, fat and round, more like alto and tenor saxophones. It has incredible atlissimo, and integrates many new innovations and features including new ergonomics, ‘boundary-layer-effect’ interior (similar to a shark’s skin which allows it to glide better through water), Theo’s angled three-ring-strap-hook, improved bore shape, advanced key adjustments, and Theo’s new proprietary nozzle!
The MANTRA soprano comes in a vintified finish.
Recommended mouthpieces:
For a brighter sound the DURGA3 soprano mouthpiece is a great synergistic fit!
For a darker sound the GAIA soprano mouthpiece is the perfect choice!

"It feels like the ergonomics of this sax have been well R&D’d. The action is comfortable and smooth and the keywork sits nicely in the right place. Like a lot of Theo’s mouthpieces there is a definite emphasis on ‘core’ within the tone of his soprano; very clearly defined and bold in sound, this definition and focus draws out a soloistic feeling when you play the Mantra, making this horn great for playing lead parts.
