Description
The Selmer Mark VII is one of the world’s most underrated saxophones: once you’ve had the chance to play one it’s quite hard to see why!
This Mark VII has a very warm, dark sound that can definitely get you in the character of players such as Zoot Sims and Stan Getz. It also has a good amount of resistance giving you more to push against and adds a thickness to your tone.
Key work wise it feels a little on the heavier sprung side and requires a larger stretch for the table keys than most older horns so wouldn't be ideal for players with smaller hands.
Supplied with a generic hard case, the purchase of something more robust is highly recommended!
