Selmer Paris Mark VI Tenor - 1963
Description
The world's favourite saxophone, the Selmer Mark VI
This is a particularly nice example and is definitely one of the best we've had through the store in recent years. The horn has a beautiful dark sound that has a nice amount of resistance to it, very much suited to a jazz or even classical context. It has been set up with low key heights which makes it feel extremely quick to get around and also contributes to the focus and thickness of the sound. The intonation is also very good. The lacquer is a lovely dark gold and has around 50% of it remaining and has a nice worn look without it being completely unlacquered.
Comes with a Gigbag but a more protective case is recommended
