Description
A Big, Smokey sounding Tenor Sax with all the trimmings
A stalwart of the saxophone manufacturing world, Conn-Selmer have re-imagined their signature line up of saxophones under another legendary name, Leblanc. Building upon a popular line of instruments, the Leblanc Saxophones draw upon that French heritage to combine sound, response and playability all in one package.
The LAS711 Premiere saxophones possess a bore and neck design that allows for a much fuller and richer sound than the Avant models whilst retaining all of the playability. Over the previous Premiere models, the 711 feels more refined, marrying an expansive sound with a rich tonal core, allowing for more expression than previously possible. Alongside an impressively developed sound, the key work feels comfortable and the intonation is reliably even for an instrument with such a big sound. The unique Aged Brass finish also helps set this sax apart from it's competitors, offering a more open sound and aging over time, eventually revealing the bare bronze underneath.
The quality isn't confined to just the saxophone either. Each instrument is supplied with the legendary Brilhart Ebolin mouthpiece, giving your sound that extra boost in tone quality. Alongside a smart protective backpack case this bundle makes for great value and remains a go to sax for those looking for something to carry them forwards for years to come.
