Staff Reviews

A great all round piece that doesn't break the bank! While this piece doesn't have the cut or projection of more baffled piece, it does allow for a great spectrum of sound possibilities. When played softly you can achieve a smoky tone similar to Gerry Mulligan, and if you're like me and like chucking loads of air down the instrument, you can achieve a really full, rich and fat sound! Oren Gurney (oren@sax.co.uk)

One of the classic designs. Rich toned, flexible- ideal for most forms of jazz and blues playing. A good broad response across the entire horn. An excellent choice for an upgrade from a student 'piece. Jules Lawrence (jules@sax.co.uk)
