Meet the Sakkusu Alto & Tenor Saxophones

Much-Loved Budget-Friendly Saxophones for Beginners & Pros

What is Sakkusu?

Sakkusu is our own brand of saxophones, built specifically for us by an exceptional team in Taiwan. We've been building and selling Sakkusu saxophones for a number of years, striving to provide the player with the very best saxophone in its price bracket.

While there are other brands in this price range, no other retailer puts its stamp of approval on a brand like we do with Sakkusu and, for even more peace of mind, every Sakkusu sax goes through the same 42-point check with our technicians as every other saxophone we sell.

The Sakkusu Alto Saxophone

Offering incredible value for money, the Sakkusu Alto is a fantastic place to start your sax journey. It is a very popular starting point, thanks to its lighter weight design, making it especially appealing for children.

The Sakkusu Tenor Saxophone

Our customers often want to learn the saxophone because they love jazz, and rightly so! When they discuss what tone they aspire to produce, we often hear about American greats such as Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon and Stan Getz. All these players were tenor players predominately.

Though we typically recommend you start your journey on the Alto, if your reason for learning and aspiring sound is of these Tenor giants, then there is nothing stopping you starting your journey on the Tenor saxophone. The Tenor is bigger and heavier, but the process of playing it is the same as all other saxophones. If your heart is set on the Tenor, then play away!
